Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy is a valuable resource for effectively managing stress, alleviating mental health symptoms, and fostering personal development. I am dedicated to using my 25 years of clinical experience to promote self-awareness and provide practical tools for managing distress. Through a collaborative approach, we will analyze your current challenges, strengths, relationships, past experiences, and cultural context to generate insights that support healing and sustainable personal growth.
Education and Experience

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology, Michigan State University
Majored in psychology with a focus on developmental psychology and research. Participated as staff, trainer, and coordinator for The Listening Ear Crisis Hotline for over 5 years. Graduated Magna Cum Laude, as a member of both Phi Beta Kappa and Psi Chi honors societies, demonstrating strong academic performance and a commitment to the field of psychology.

Master of Social Work (MSW), Loyola University Chicago
Concentration in clinical psychotherapy with adolescents and adults. Participated in internships with the University of Chicago Outpatient Clinic and Community Mental Health in Northwest Chicago. Served on the Editorial Board for Praxis (a peer reviewed journal), acted as the Associate Editor for Illinois Child Welfare journal, and published articles in both journals.

Clinical Experience and Teaching
Taught at both social work undergraduate students at both Oakland University and Loyola University Chicago. Curriculum included clinical theory, social work practice, and multicultural studies.
Clinical experience at Child and Family Solutions Center (Farmington Hills), Center for Divorce Recovery (Chicago), Jewish Child and Family Services (Chicago), and Livingston Area Council Against Spouse Abuse (Howell).
Frequently Asked Questions
Do You Accept Insurance?
I am in network for all Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans. For other insurers, I can courtesy bill for any out of network mental health benefits. Clients may also choose to pay out of pocket via a HSA or credit card.
When Are You Available?
My availability varies based on my current caseload, but generally speaking I see clients Mondays 9:30am-5:30pm, Tuesdays 12pm-5:00pm, Wednesdays 9:30-5:00pm, and Thursdays 10:30am-5:30pm. Between sessions, clients can reach out at anytime via email, and I will respond within 24 hours.
What Locations Do You Serve?
As an online telehealth provider, I can serve clients anywhere in the state of Michigan, where I am licensed to practice.
Do You Offer Sliding Scale?
Unfortunately, I cannot offer sliding scale as an in-network participating provider.
How Often Do You See Clients?
I generally try to schedule clients at a consistent, weekly time in order to make optimal progress towards their treatment goals
Do You Have Any In-Person Appointments Available?

As an online telehealth provider, I can serve clients anywhere in the state of Michigan, where I am licensed to practice.
Yes, I use a HIPAA compliant website to conduct sessions so whatever you share with me in sessions is secure. I ask that all of my clients find a private and comfortable place to log in to their sessions so they can feel free to share whatever they need to without worry about being overheard.
Forms, data, and your information are also stored via the same secure site.
